Uttarakhand Chief Minister launches first Drone Manufacturing Company in India under Make In India programme

Dehradun: CM Pushkar Singh Dhami on Friday launched the first drone factory under Make in India by Rotor Precision Instrument Pvt Ltd in Roorkee. The CM also inquired about the drones being made with indigenous technology. He said that this day is historic for the state, when the country's largest and state's first modern drone technology factory has been started.

The CM said that under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi, India is working very fast in the field of drone technology and weapon manufacturing under Make in India. India is exporting arms to many countries, which is presenting India as a world power. Said that Uttarakhand is very complex in terms of geographical conditions. Drone technology can prove to be very effective here. All the experts can send their suggestions to the government for how much more drones can be used in the state. The state government will definitely take cognizance of important matters related to the state interest. The drone factory will manufacture more than 150 survey drones every month, in addition to having the capacity to manufacture more than 50 advanced drones for the Indian Army.
