Drone use in action: Tiger seen floating on Girija barrage in Bahraich

Forest department monitoring the activities of Tigers by drone, one of them escaped from the shore into the forest.

Due to the torrential rains in the mountainous areas of Nepal, the general public is troubled there, but the wildlife is also facing a crisis. A tiger was seen coming from the side of Gerua river at the gate number 5 and 6 of Girija Barrage. When the eyes of the people who came to visit the barrage fell on this tiger, people informed the forest department about it. On information, the forest department team reached the spot and got it monitored by drone camera. After much effort, the tiger reached the shore while swimming in the river and ran through the sugarcane field into the forest. Then the forest department heaved a sigh of relief.

The tiger was seen swimming in the Gerua river flowing in the Katarnia region. When people noticed, the information was given to the Forest Department. On information, the forest department team reached the spot. The DFO said that drone cameras were being monitored, during which some people were crossing the river on a boat in the river. They saw that the tiger reached the shore swimming and ran through the sugarcane field into the forest.
